  • When it comes to beer, most people’s first instinct is to go to the closest supermarket and to choose one of the varieties of mass-produced beers by one of those popular companies. However, they do not know that craft beer is a much better choice, since besides the health benefits it brings, it is also a lot tastier. Local brewers such as http://www.thebeergarden.club offer a wide range of products, but in order to enjoy your beer to the fullest, it is advisable to consider these dos and don’ts.

Do ensure the beer is kept at the right temperature

Many people consider that the best way to serve beer is as cold as ice, but this is not always the right thing to do and the reason is quite simple: coldness tends to inhibit the taste receptors present on the tongue, thus preventing you from actually tasting the flavours of beer accordingly. A slightly chilled temperature is the right way to serve craft beer.

Don’t limit to only one sip when tasting

Whenever they taste a type of beer, most people only take one sip and rush into making an opinion on that drink, but specialists claim that this is the wrong way to do it. Aromas and flavours can be complex and can mislead you, which is why it is recommended that you take more than just one sip when tasting a craft beer. This way you can make a much clearer opinion on it and you can say whether or not you liked it.

    Do provide good storing conditions

In order to maintain beer in good conditions for a longer period, it is essential that you store it properly. This means that you should avoid storing the beer in places where the sunlight falls directly onto the bottle. Darker places such as closed cabinets are the best ones. Also, it is important that the beer is kept at proper temperature in order to maintain all its properties and flavours intact for as long as possible, which is why you should ensure it is stored someplace chill. When buying craft beer from one of the local stores in your region, make sure it was kept cool, even though you are not going to drink it immediately.

    Don’t drink and drive

As simple as that. It is strongly advisable to avoid driving after you have had a few beers (or even one!), since you represent a threat not only to yourself, but also to other traffic participants.
